SMH Transport is a family run business and was formed to bridge the gap between small, local courier companies and the multinational transport companies that have moved into the industry over recent years.
Many courier companies seem to lack the quality standards, the range of services and the level of resources which the multinationals can offer; whereas the multinationals often seem to lack the dedication, the local knowledge, the flexibility and, above all, the personal touch of the smaller, local companies.
SMH Transport was formed in 2006 by Simon & Michelle Houghton who both have extensive experience in the express transport, logistics and courier sectors.
Drawing on their experience of working for the multinationals, the major national networks and local courier companies we have put together a wide range of services offering an unbeatable level of flexibility and a quality of service which we believe is second to none.
